Xbox One Insider Program Now Open To All Users With Flexible Levels Of Access
Microsoft has noted that there are four levels of access in the Xbox One Insider program and these levels unlock depending on how long the user has been part of the Xbox One Insider program and how often he/she provides feedback. Omega is outermost ring a user can opt into, earning early access to upcoming system updates.
The Xbox One Insider program is now available to all, with flexible levels of access for those who want fewer system updates. One of those gamer feedback oriented programs is the Xbox Insider Program.
If users have multiple consoles then they will be able to choose separate levels of access for each of the console. For those in the Delta ring, some will be selected (randomly it seems) to receive earlier builds than others. This process gives developers a better understanding of how different sets of users experience new features, when introduced.
Retail Xbox One consoles can be used to publish games but those games must also be Universal Windows Applications so they can run on Windows 10. This means if you're concerned with bandwidth usage or the frequency of updates, you can simply move to a lower ring whenever you'd like. Microsoft is trying to simplify entry into the Insider Program through the use of a heirarchical ring program. Nine games are available right now in a section called "Creators collection" in the Xbox Store.
Swiss franc surges as Korea tensions rise
The Japanese Yen saw broad gains in the wake of the rhetoric bandied about by the leaders of the United States and North Korea . The U.S. currency was down 0.15 percent at 110.140 yen, edging towards a seven-week low of 109.850 set last week.
In addition to early updates, Microsoft is partnering with game developers to get beta access to certain games for Insider Program users as well. Not yet an Xbox Insider and interested in joining the program?
For those interesting in this program, go to the store on your Xbox One, search for "Xbox Insider Hub" and download the app to get started with testing.
