Actress attack: High Court defers Dileep's bail plea to August 18

After actor Dileep took the police to task for claiming that he delayed filing a complaint against actress attack prime accused Pulsar Suni, who allegedly tried to blackmail him, Kerala police chief Loknath Behera has come out defending the cops.

The High Court is slated to consider Dileep's bail application on August 18. Earlier both the HC and the Angamaly court had rejected Dileep's bail applications. I can not say openly who is more correct? He told reporters that he will inform the court that when and how the complaint was filed.

Dileep had mentioned in his bail plea that he had informed DGP about the letter written by Pulsar Suni from jail, via phone and Whatsapp.

Javed Miandad urges PCB to stop bothering about playing with India
Pakistan's deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had appointed Sethi as member of the board of governors last month. Amid this tight schedule, the PCB announced a National T20 Championship running from August 25 to September 10.

The main argument raised by police against Dileep was that he filed a blackmail complaint only 20 days after the telephone conversation with Suni.

"Dileep was already under the police scanner after the February 17 attack".

Dileep was arrested on July 10, following hours of questioning. He was twice denied bail by a lower court and Kerala High Court as the courts expressed concerns that the accused may indulge in tampering of evidence or try to influence witnesses.

NY is the favourite to win Saudi Aramco listing
The agreement was also supported by 11 non-OPEC states, which promised to jointly reduce oil output by 558,000 barrels per day. NY is likely to be the favoured option for the foreign listing of the state oil giant Saudi Aramco, not London or Hong Kong.

The bail petition also alleged that some powerful persons from the film industry conspired against him.

Dileep has also levelled some serious charges against filmmaker VA Shrikumar Menon and Liberty Basheer, and investigating official ADGP Sandhya.
