A security incident that delayed a British Airways flight in Paris and led to passengers deplaning was caused by a false alarm, French authorities said.

James Anderson, 20, who is on the flight from Charles de Gaulle airport to London Heathrow said that the plane had been searched due to an apparent threat made by an individual.

Passengers were asked to leave the aircraft as police and fire crews swarmed the tarmac.
