'13 Reasons Why' Shuts Down Production Due to Devastating California Wildfires

"As the fires raged through the Vallejo area in #northern california, where shooting has been ongoing for the second season, the #Netflix drama "#13 Reasons Why" has seen a shut down in production yesterday. Production will continue to be on hiatus through Thursday, with additional days being added if necessary.

The fires affecting north California have put a stop to filming in Vallejo, with 15 confirmed dead and more than 200 now missing in the area. Friday and Saturday were already planned days off for the show, so filming is now scheduled to resume on Sunday.

The cast of 13 Reasons Why has been hard at work filming Season 2 of the hit Netflix drama that took the world by storm, but they have been faced with some complications.

Digital Spy reports that fires in Sonoma County have seen at least 17 people dead and more than 200 people have been reported missing, while the fire engulfed and wiped out entire neighborhoods in Santa Rosa.
