Blackberry Motion Up for Pre-orders in the UAE for AED 1699

Reports suggest that the device will selling at a price of $460 and will be available first in the Middle East markets such as UAE and Saudi Arabia

BlackBerry is interestingly set to bring the Motion handset first to the Middle Eastern markets, including the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with a price tag of almost US$460 (approximately SG$628).

Carrier Axiom Telecom has listed the BlackBerry Motion smartphone for AED 1,699, nearly $460.

Currently, no information is there about the BlackBerry's phone availability for the United States market or about its possible cost.

For example, when powering on the Darth Vader unit, the vacuum will play and mimic the character's infamous breathing. As well as the external likeness to Star Wars characters, they both also feature unique sound effects.

The device is powered by Google's Android 7.1 "Nougat" mobile OS and has some interesting specifications for a mid-range mobile phone.

Last year, TCL signed a brand licensing deal with BlackBerry to use the company's name for new smartphones, while the Canadian firm focused on software.

Additionally, the device has a feature called Locker Mode and Convenience Key.
