US Market Indexes Lower on Thursday

US stocks close lower amid earnings, data

US stocks closed lower on Thursday as investors digested third quarter earnings reports as well as latest economic data. With the S&P 500 up 14 percent in 2017, investors are betting on strong earnings growth across the S&P 500. The S&P 600 Small-Cap Index closed at 909.43 for a loss of 1.11 points or 0.12%.

"Armenpress" reports the value of Dow Jones down by 0.14% to 22841.01 points, S&P 500 down by 0.17% to 2550.93 points, Nasdaq down by 0.18% to 6591.51 points.

Shares of big banks were little changed after mixed reports from Bank of America and Wells Fargo.
