GETTYVenus Jupiter conjunction 2017 The planets will rise as one on Monday
Londoners will see Venus rise at 5:56 a.m. local time, followed by Jupiter 2 minutes later, with the moment of conjunction occurring at 6:05 a.m.
Jupiter will pass Venus in a low but close and spectacular conjunction on early Monday morning, media reports said.
The planets, which orbit the sun about 416 million miles apart, will be just 17 arcminutes from each other when viewed from Earth. The brightest planets of the solar system will appear in conjunction in the south-east, just above the horizon on November 13, 2017.

On his visit to Vietnam, Trump heaped lavish praise on the vibrant Indian democracy and policies pursued by PM Modi . APEC brings together 21 economies from the Pacific region - the equivalent of about 60 per cent of the world's GDP.
Conjunctions between Venus and Jupiter are far from rare events - taking place at mean intervals of 13 months. For mid-northern-latitude skywatchers, both planets will have an altitude of about 11 degrees above the horizon - or just about the width of a fist at arm's length - when the sun is just below the horizon.
Venus will be 152 million miles (246 million km) from us, while Jupiter is almost four times farther away, at 594 million miles (956 million km), the portal said.
In Los Angeles, the conjunction will be well below the horizon when it occurs, though, on the morning of November 13, Venus and Jupiter will rise at 5:19 a.m. and 5:18 a.m., respectively.
Stargazers in the Ireland will get over an hour of viewing time before light from the sun hides the planets and a clear horizon, preferably on top of a hill or balcony is being reccomended as an ideal spot to watch the passing.
The conjunction will be slightly more hard to watch in the United States, because sunrise comes earlier than in Britain. While the planets will be visible with the naked eye, telescope or pair of binoculars can give you a clearer view. From the point of view of Earth, it will seem as if the two planets are colliding with each other.
