Sead Kolasinac signed for Arsenal from Schalke

Schalke sporting director Christian Heidel insists it is "not certain" that Liverpool target Leon Goretzka will leave the club in January.

The Germany worldwide will reportedly join the Reds in January, with the player having turned down the chance to move to Barcelona due to being unimpressed with their contract offer.

At the time of writing, Goretzka is considered one of the most accomplished central-midfielders in the Bundesliga, and his superb performances appear to be turning plenty of heads around Europe.

The report suggests that the midfielder has set his sights on a Premier League move instead of joining the likes of Bayern or Barcelona.

According to Spanish outlet Sport, Goretzka has decided that he will be moving to England when his contract expires at the end of the season.

They even claim the Reds have a January agreement to sign the midfielder.

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc (Chipotle), together with its subsidiaries, operates Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurants. Stonebridge Capital Management Inc sold 790 shares as Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc Com (CMG)'s stock rose 13.42%.

Any deal to sign Goretzka could open the door for Philippe Coutinho to leave Anfield for Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain, though.

Should the Old Lady pursue Liverpool's Emre Can, they will reportedly face stiff competition for his signature, in the form of High-flying Manchester City and German giants Borussia Dortmund.
