Prosecutor loses job after Uber meltdown threatening driver

Platt picked up Warner at Capitol Pub in Old East Dallas on Friday night and was supposed to drive her home but the passenger allegedly told him to follow a route different from his GPS directions which caused him to get lost

Platt says he asked Warner to get out of the auto, but when she declined, Platt called the police. "I want the cops to come so that they can fuck you up, that's what I want".

Adding, 'As public servants, we represent the people of Dallas County and are examples of justice, professionalism, and ethical behavior both inside and outside of the courtroom. "You're kidnapping me. You're committing a third- to first-degree felony, so do you want to take me home?"

When Platt asks her to exit his vehicle, the woman informs him she is a county employee. "I'm sure she's a good person when she's sober".

The driver told the passenger that she was free to leave at any time.

In a statement, DA Faith Johnson says Warner will not face criminal charges, but her behavior is contrary to the office's core principle of integrity and will not be tolerated.

A Dallas County district attorney was sacked from her job after she accused her Uber driver of kidnapping and reportedly struck him during their late night ride.

Typically, people are diagnosed with type 2 diabetes from the age of 40, but there are some exceptions. Being overwhelmed can be stressful and stress can raise blood sugar.

"I think this might be kidnapping right now, actually", she said.

"She kept saying she was the assistant D.A. Said, 'Who are they gonna believe?" "That being said, the audio doesn't tell you that I was in a situation that made me feel very uncomfortable and I became defensive and eventually angry".

"I cringe whenever I hear or think about the things that I said that night", she said.

In the aftermath of Friday's incident, Platt said he was 'totally afraid' of being arrested when police arrived.

Not everyone was piling on Jody Warner after the story broke.

Criminal defense attorney Pete Schulte defended Warner in a Twitter post.

Another Body Found in Tampa Neighborhood Where 3 Were Killed
Authorities said they were called to the Seminole Heights neighborhood Tuesday morning for reports of shots fired. As police scoured the area for a suspect, residents were told to lock their doors and stay in place.

"After reviewing this incident and speaking with the complainant who called 911, the Dallas Police Department has determined that the officer's involvement was within departmental policies and procedures", Dallas Police said in a statement.

According to her LinkedIn page, Warner studied law at the Texas Tech University School of Law and joined the Dallas County District Attorney's Office in February 2011.

Platt released the audio on social media. "@dallasnews @CityOfDallas Horrible human @jody_warner needs to be FIRED for berating and threatening a good human with her self-inflated power and position #scumbag", wrote one woman in a fairly typical post.

"Oh, my God, you're going to regret this so much", Warner, who had been working in the district attorney's office for six years, says in the audio recording obtained by the Morning News. Warner was "let off the hook", he said.

Warner in turn took exception to Platt, telling the man, he was 'never going to work again' and that she 'knows people, ' according to the Uber driver.

According to Crowdrise, Jody Warner, of Dallas, was part of a fundraising effort to raise money for Alzheimer's research. "If it wasn't me, it would be the next person that she Ubers with". "As an organization over the past 8 years, BvB Dallas has raised over $2.3 million; raising over $490K last year alone (wow!?)". "It was not how I expected my night to go". Thanks in advance for your help in the fight to #TackleAlz!
