Thermaltake launches active-cooled X Comfort Air gaming chair

Thermaltake's New Gaming Chair Has Fans to Cool Your Seat
While many are still expecting an influx of RGB gaming chairs, Thermaltake is heading in a different direction all together.
Acknowledging the fact that some people's bottoms get a lot warmer than others during marathon gaming sessions, Thermaltake has added a three-button fan speed controller (1530 RPM, 3060 RPM, and 5100 RPM), letting users select a temperature that they find refreshingly cool. Focusing on just how cool your bum could be, the new Thermaltake X Comfort Air is the first gaming chair to sport built-in fans.
In order to achieve maximum cooling performance, the aerodynamic design of the seat allows streamlined airflow to be directed straight through the seat via compression, and thus prevents air loss for maximum efficiency.
The X Comfort Air also boasts numerous usual features found in pricey gaming chairs: 4D armrests, adjustable head and back support, dense foam padding, faux leather, breathable mesh, and a multi-function lockable tilt mechanism. Finished in PVC plastic, commonly known as "pleather" for its pseudo-leather appearance and feel, the seat includes an internal breathable mesh, additional padding, adjustable armrest, adjustable back and head support, pre-set and lockable tilt positions, and internals made from high-density foam over a 22mm steel framework.
Moving the air are four 60 mm fans, which are controlled by a box mounted on the underside of the seat. The foam is wrapped with the use of high-quality faux leather for enhanced durability, breathability and splash resistance.
