It's worth stressing here that this doesn't mean tickets will be available next to any music-related video on YouTube - those grainy fan-shot clips won't be used to sell tickets to the next gig on a tour.
Starting today, YouTube will begin featuring hundreds of artist's upcoming USA tour dates on their YouTube videos.
If you'll read a bit of YouTube's announcement of the partnership, it reads a bit like a proposal to Ticketmaster. Dates and venues are listed and include a direct link to Ticketmaster.com to purchase tickets.
Florida man fights for 'emotional support squirrel'
Property management at Island Walk Condominiums discovered Brutis back in April when she was chased up a tree by a dog. The doctor's note shows further proof that the Florida man has the right to have an emotional support animal.
As of today, the feature is set up for North American tour dates only, but YouTube says it plans to expand globally. In addition to removing videos that directly preach hate or seek to incite violence, the company will remove videos of named terrorists - unless the content is journalistic or educational in nature, such as documentaries and news reports.
The move comes at a time when Spotify is running away with the streaming market, and specifically has been working to improve its platform for artists with things like a data dashboard and native app for updating artists' profiles, playlists, and checking their stats.
However, Ticketmaster's deal is not exclusive to YouTube - the company past year integrated with Spotify for ticket sales as well. "The ones who not only watch and listen to videos, but are also willing to pay to see live performances". It's quite likely this will also apply to music videos with claimed ownership by artists and labels long before most modern YouTube content rules were in place.
Presumably, there's some sort of revenue sharing agreement here for the ticket sales that are initiated via YouTube, but the company didn't say.
The deal will see YouTube advertise concert listings within artist videos, and then push users over to Ticketmaster to make the transaction.

Despite Red Carpet, Trump Agenda in Asia Largely Ignored
We would have asked him about it, but the USA had acceded to the Chinese "insistence" that no questions from the press be allowed. If not, as Trump has repeatedly said, the military option is on the table-something to which China is strongly opposed.
Brexit Could Leave 'Food Rotting At The Border', Warn MPs
In 2015, there were around 55 million customs declarations, a figure which is set to increase to 255 million after Brexit. During the transition between the two systems, the old version would operate in tandem with the new one, he added.
