China sends senior official to North Korea - days after Donald Trump's meeting with Xi Jinping

Following Donald Trump-Xi Jinping meeting, China to send special envoy to North Korea

"But China will inform North Korea that it opposes such actions".

North Korea's state news agency said in a short dispatch that Song will visit the North "soon", without revealing details.

"President Xi of China has stated that he is upping the sanctions against #NoKo".
