25 injured in Singapore MRT train accident

Facebook user Mei Anne wrote that she was a passenger on one of the trains, and hurt her back as a result of the collision.

She also posted a close-up shot of parts of the trains that collided, but we can't discern any noticeable damage.

Earlier, the Singapore Civil Defence Force said in a Twitter post that it had been alerted to an incident at the station at 8:33 a.m. "23 injured passengers have already been conveyed to the hospitals, majority sustained minor injuries", said SCDF.
