'Pokémon Go' will soon incorporate real-world weather
07 December 2017, 12:14 | Casey Mitchell
As far as the dynamic real-world weather system is concerned, it will mimic the individual player's local weather conditions in the game environment thereby giving a more realistic touch to the gaming interface.
As Trainers are exploring the world around them in search of Pokemon, the current weather in their vicinity will be visible on the in-game map.
Niantic is going to release a series of "Pokemon GO" updates starting this week. The weather system update is scheduled to roll out later this month. That said, there are six different weather types available clear, rain, cloudy, fog, snow, and windy.
Finding these fifty additional Pokemon may be found easily by taking advantage of the brand new dynamic weather gameplay. Finally, weather will also aid your caught Pokémon; Charizard's attacks will be more powerful on a sunny day. Over the next couple of weeks, additional Hoenn Pokémon will make their debuts in the app, eventually adding up to 50 new creatures that will hail mostly from the worlds that gamers infiltrated in PokémonRuby and Sapphire. But from now on, Pokemon GO players will need to get a little more hardcore if they want to catch 'em all.
Though trading and PVP battles were still on the company's overall "to-do list", Bhargava pointed out that it might take a while before the features get added into the game since Niantic still has to properly investigate the feasibility of the features. Rather than releasing all 130 Hoenn Pokemon all at once, Niantic has chose to introduce this generation's Pokemon incrementally.
Some quality of life updates are also being thrown into the game.
