Cristiano Ronaldo lifts the European Championship trophy after Portugal's victory last year
Wembley will now host seven matches in total, having already been allocated the two semi-finals and the final on 12 July, 2020.
Brussels has lost the right to stage Euro 2020 matches following delays in the development of its new Eurostadium with the four games it was due to host going to London's Wembley instead.
Sweden's capital Stockholm and Welsh city Cardiff - both of which staged major European finals this year - had expressed an interesting in replacing Brussels as a host city.
The decision means that Wembley will stage seven games in total - the final, both semi-finals, a last-16 match and three group games - resulting in the biggest festival of worldwide football in the country since Euro 96.
