United States regulations require the president to endorse JCPOA every 90 days and extend waivers of economic sanctions against Iran every 120 days. The ultimatum puts pressure on Europeans - key backers and parties to the 2015 global agreement - to satisfy Trump, who has called the deal "the worst ever". U.S. officials said on Friday they want to see an agreement that reimposes sanctions on Iran if it doesn't adhere to new inspections standards or begins advancing its nuclear program after certain restrictions in the original nuclear deal expire.

Mr Trump also wants Iran's ballistic missile programme to be addressed."This is a last chance", the USA president said in a statement on Friday.

"I have outlined two possible paths forward: either fix the deal's disastrous flaws, or the United States will withdraw", Trump said. He wants to require more robust inspections of nuclear facilities.

Most U.S. trade with and investment in Iran already is banned under separate U.S. sanctions for Tehran's human rights abuses, ballistic missile program and support for terrorism, but the administration and its supporters said more are needed.

South Africa wins toss, bats in 2nd test against India
India was in position for a rare victory in South Africa in the opening test in Johannesburg in December 2013. What is the "most consistent" player for? But once that was done with, he was at his stroke-playing best.

Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif (L) addresses anchor Charlie Rose, at an event held in conjunction with the 72nd United Nations General Assembly in Manhattan, New York, U.S., September 27, 2017. JCPOA (the nuclear deal) is not renegotiable: "rather than repeating exhausted rhetoric, USA must bring itself into full compliance - just like Iran", Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote on his Twitter account.

Mr Trump maintains that Iran is not complying with the spirit of the deal, .

Trump will next have to deal with these decisions in 120 days, in mid-May.

The sanctioning of Larijani, the most prominent of the United States targets, could have "serious political impact inside Iran", a senior Trump administration official predicted Friday.

African ambassadors condemn Trump remarks as 'racist'
In an interview with NPR, Haiti's ambassador to the US, Paul Altidor, said he was "surprised and disappointed" in Trump's remarks. Dick Durbin, who was at the meeting with Graham and others, said Trump did do so, and called his language "vile".

The Republican leader grudgingly agreed to sign sanctions waivers, ensuring Washington will live up to its commitments for another 120 days, but he cautioned it would be 'for the last time'. "European partners were unanimous today in our determination to preserve the deal and tackle Iran's disruptive behaviour", added Mr Johnson.

For what he says is the last time, President Donald Trump is keeping the U.S.in the worldwide deal on Iran's nuclear program. "One of the reports will apparently include a list of individuals who might be targeted with the American sanctions, and the other as we believe, will encompass the effectiveness of the sanctions already in place", he said.

Russian Federation - one of the parties to the Iran pact alongside the United States, China, France, Britain, Germany and the European Union - called Trump's comments "extremely negative".

Iran has dismissed USA calls for the quit of missile program development, and it has stressed that its nuclear program is peaceful.
