The three new trailers show gameplay for every Nintendo Labo experience announced so far, and provide an in depth look at what Labo will be able to do straight out of the box.
Among the various trinkets you can cobble together include a fishing rod, motorbike, piano, and house, while the Robo Kit allows you to strap on a backback, visor, and other gear before taking part in various mini-games based around your equipment loadout.
If you're feeling competitive, you can even challenge a friend in two-player local battles or compare your high scores/rankings with other players! The first two videos show the Variety Kit and Robot Kit respectively, both of which will release on April 27. The Variety Kit will cost $70, while the Robot Kit will set you back $80.
NintendoLabo encourages you to use your imagination and creativity to customize your cardboard Toy-Con creations in a variety of ways. Experiment with different sounds and pitches to create something truly unique - even a song composed entirely of cat noises!
Toy-Con Motorbike: Players can grab hold of their newly constructed handlebars and race through different tracks, challenging CPU opponents or collecting balloons across mountainous terrain. The Toy-Con House gives you a small cute animal to befriend and interact with while using the Joy-Cons in unique way. Importantly, the kit will alos come with it a mode that lets players create their own toys and games using a simple but robust programming language that seems to work off of an "if this then that" system. There are a variety of experiences to discover, including mine cart races, bowling, and playing jump rope. A Customization Set for Nintendo Labo will be available to purchase that comes with different stickers, including some Mario and Splatoon themed ones.
Toy-Con RC Car: The RC Car is full of unique and surprising features.
Inside the Toy-Con 01 Variety Kit, you get the tools to make a piano, motorbike, fishing rod, house and a remote control auto that looks more like a Hexbug-style insect. The cars can also be programmed via the IR sensor in the right Joy-Con to drive along a specific route.
