Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho, who will lead United into the home leg of their UCL tie with Sevilla tomorrow, was hitting back a De Boer who said it was "a pity" for Marcus Rashford that Mourinho is his manager.

The 20-year-old forward scored twice in a vibrant display as the Red Devils beat their bitter rivals Liverpool 2-1 at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The Manchester United boss was reacting to De Boer saying that Mourinho was not the best boss to be managing Marcus Rashford who was the hero in Saturday's win against Liverpool.

"I read something, some quote from the worst manager in the history of the Premier League, Frank de Boer, saying it was not good for Rashford to have a coach like me because the most important thing for me is to win", Mourinho said.

North Korea seen 'cautious' in announcing stance over upcoming summits: Seoul
The story so far: President Donald Trump accepted North Korea's invitation for direct talks with Kim Jong Un , to be held by May. North Korean media have reported the South Korean visit, but no details of the talks.

Jose Mourinho did not mince his words when it came to responding to criticism from former Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer.

"Tomorrow is a very hard match, playing against a team that didn't lose against Liverpool home or away [in the group stage], that drew in Liverpool and I say Liverpool because they are an example of a very good team in a big stadium with a big tradition". He wants to get results.

Maybe with him, he would learn how to lose. I try to give the best to the kids, education.

"I don't know (if he can play), we don't know yet, but he trained a little bit after you left". Not many were expecting him to start against Liverpool and he had a good match not just about scoring goals.

The former Chelsea manager has not just talked the talked though but has also walked the walked as Marcus Rashford was the only player involved in every match-day squad prior to his injury. Of course, with Marcus, I have to be honest and give the credit to the people in the academy who were responsible for his formation; I have to leave credit to Louis van Gaal, who was responsible for his first season in the first team.

Brandon Jennings, Bucks Reportedly Agree to 10-Day Contract
Just always wanted to bounce back from that. "Just putting on that jersey was a blessing and I was just very grateful". He started the season playing in China before joining the Bucks' G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, in February.

"I don't think we're candidates to win the competition".

"When you are in the last 16 it looks really, really far, but when a team gets in the last eight you start smelling the semi-finals".

The Portuguese did not actually address that question ahead of the return leg against Sevilla, nor did he give a straight answer on Paul Pogba's availability on Tuesday.

"(Pogba) did (train) after you left", Mourinho said.
