Bathroom hand dryers are spraying poo at you, study finds

Here's why using a hand dryer in a public bathroom is actually a bit sick

Ученые предупредили об опасности сушилок для рук

American scientists have concluded that hand dryers are the breeding grounds of harmful microorganisms. That bacteria then circulates in the air to then be sucked up, warmed up, and blown out of the dryer.

Some hand dryers like those made by Dyson do use HEPA filters.

Several other hedge funds have also bought and sold shares of VZ. 592 increased stakes while 141 funds took stakes. SunTrust Banks, Inc . a U.S. based Company, belongs to Financial sector and Money Center Banks industry.

The hand dryers were found to be sucking up the impure air inside the washrooms and spraying it back on the hands of the users. Although these particular spores, which can survive for years, are "meaningless" for human health, their vast distribution shows that bacteria had spread through the air of the entire building.

"Perhaps the filters weren't working properly, or the large air column below the hand dryers was sucking in bacteria from unfiltered air adjacent to the forced air column", Setlow, who is a professor at the University of CT, explained.

Apple Announces Red iPhone 8
Yesterday, the news related to release of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus in red colour was floating on many tech aggregators platform. Notably, the Red iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be available in 64GB and 256GB storage guises, and will start from US$699.

For now, Setlow is sticking to paper towels-as is the University of CT, which has added them to all 36 bathrooms surveyed in the study. To be on the safe side, wiping hands with a paper towel after washing with soap is a better option. Scientists set off hand dryers in the bathrooms and placed a special plate just beneath them for 30 seconds.

The plates were then tested and found to contain 18 to 60 colonies of bacteria each, although harmless laboratory bacteria were used for the test. They also exposed some of these sterile plates to the bathroom air under fans for 20 minutes.

Nixon, Cuomo Offer Different Approaches to Legalizing Marijuana
Like so many other municipal politicians across the country, the Mayor and Council at the District of Fort St. James is grappling with how to deal with the introduction of legalized marijuana.

A new study conducted by researchers in the University of CT showed that hand dryers expel a lot of harmful bacteria back onto your hands. MythBusters Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage uncovered the dirty truth to this myth by covering a bathroom with 24 toothbrushes, two of which they brushed with each morning - the others they simply rinsed every day for a month...
