Saudi Arabia's push for a tough stand against its arch-rival Iran is expected to dominate an Arab League summit on Sunday as regional tensions grow over the wars in Syria and Yemen.

The summit also reaffirmed UAE's sovereignty over its three islands and reiterated its support for all peaceful means and measures taken by the UAE to restore its sovereignty over the occupied islands.

Arab ministers at a preliminary meeting in Riyadh on Thursday focused heavily on blocking the move, unanimously condemning the decision by US President Donald Trump. "We emphasize that East Jerusalem is an integral part of the Palestinian land".

Two tribal women raped in Gumla
The following incident has once again highlighted the non-serious nature of the Uttar Pradesh police. They say the accused drove her and 10-year-old daughter out of the house three months ago.

King Salman said Saudi Arabia was donating $200-million to support the Palestinians, including $50-million for the U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

While calling upon the global community to work towards facilitating delivery of humanitarian assistance in all regions of Yemen, the King said, "We hold the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias fully responsible for the emergence and continuation of the Yemeni crisis and the human suffering that has afflicted Yemen".

"Iran and terrorism are two sides of the same coin in the region", he said, while stressing that Houthi militias bear full responsibility for the crisis in Yemen.

Iran is backing Shiite Houthis that Riyadh opposes in Yemen and on Sunday Salman praised "the U.N. Security Council's statement denouncing the Iranian-made ballistic missile fire on Saudi cities".

Shots fired at residence of Supreme Court judge Justice Ijaz Ul Ahsan
The chief justice is monitoring the situation and keeping an eye on developments related to the firing incident. He was also part of the three-member bench hearing 17 petitions against the controversial Elections Act 2017.

"We renew our strong condemnation of terrorist acts carried out by Iran in the Arab region, and we reject its blatant interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries", King Salman said in the eastern Saudi city of Dhahran, without giving specifics.

We condemn its hostile attempts aimed at destabilizing security and spreading sectarian sedition, considered a threat to Arab national security and a flagrant violation of the principles of global law.

"The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased with the brothers meeting in Dhahran Summit in which the efforts and honest intentions of the unity of visions, and dealing with all challenges, are combined with force, will and coordination", King Salman tweeted.

Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani headed Qatar's delegation at last year's summit in Jordan.
