Microsoft's store now fully supports gifting

Microsoft Store Users Can Now Send PC Games as Digital Gifts

EA held its quarterly financial earnings call last week, during which we received three big takeaways- Battlefield V will have a single-player campaign, there will be "early access" opportunities for Anthem and finally, an estimate on Xbox One sales. Now, Microsoft has removed these restrictions and users can now gift all Xbox One and Microsoft Store PC games digitally.

Xbox Live services are now spread across multiple platforms, ranging from the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Microsoft has enabled gifting on its storefront, making it possible to send games through to anyone you like - as long as you have their email address.

Catalan parliament to vote for new president on Monday
Torra lambasted European institutions for their "unacceptable silence" over the Catalan crisis. The former leader is now in self-exile in Germany and faces jail if he returns to Spain.

There's no telling if this is an actual product or just a concept, but Windows Central reports that Microsoft could likely reveal this new controller at E3.

The gift recipient will receive a code for their product along with instructions on how to redeem the code. There are no limits for gift purchases made at full price. Rather than only being able to give gift cards, select Xbox One digital games and DLC, Xbox Live Gold, and Xbox Game Pass subscriptions could also be gifted. For instance, you can't buy and gift more than two discounted products and a total of 10 discount products within 14 days. Now, before you buy it for yourself, you can click on an option that has "Buy as Gift", and then you have to manually type in the e-mail address for the person you would like to receive that gift.

And finally - much like how Valve has it setup for Steam - you can only purchase and gift items to people who are located in the same region where the product was purchased.
