We need to stay calm and humble- Mercedes boss Wolff
Coming off four straight titles in both the constructors' and drivers' championships, Mercedes had started the season by showing good pace in Australia, although it let victory escape thanks in part to an ill-timed safety auto that helped Ferrari'sSebastian Vettel earn the win in Melbourne.
Let's be honest, after the excitement of the opening three corners, the Spanish Grand Prix was a bit of a snoozefest.
"But we know that this was a good circuit for us and the temperatures fell in our favor as well".
And with Mercedes money men in Barcelona to witness his dominant display, Hamilton dropped the biggest hint yet that he is ready to commit his future to the German team.
"We still need to add performance to the auto throughout the year, so that's what we're going to be continuing to be working on".
In Ferrari's favour, Mercedes has struggled at certain circuits in past years, including Monaco. I felt that synergy which I hadn't been feeling for the whole year. 'The bottom line is that we were not quick enough, ' a rather glum Vettel conceded.
"We've definitely got ourselves on to the right path".
"But Mercedes have looked strong".
"It was a very easy one-stop here and the tyres were very very similar but we have already spoken to Charlie [Whiting]", he said. Despite all the talk of updates, as usual the ultimate performance seems to come down to who can get the tricky Pirelli tyres to work best for them.
Vettel won the Monaco race previous year, when Ferrari was 1-2 in qualifying and in the GP.
Jets Look To Extend Series Lead Over Golden Knights
There's going to be moments in this series where they get scoring chances. "They're going to feed off of that. But the Golden Knights, or Golden Misfits as they like to be called, will make the Jets work for it.
Mercedes now do not have any drivers under contract for 2019 as Valtteri Bottas is also in the final year of his current deal.
"When you do the debrief like I've just done I can be very, very particular and to the point of what I want them to work on". Hamilton set blindingly fast sector times throughout the race regardless of tyre-type, and it is going to be dashed hard for Vettel to claw back this advantage.
"Of course they knew it would do because they said it was going to work but when they go away and do their expertise and come back on certain area on the vehicle you'll start to see the benefits from it". Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo are both pretty awesome around street circuits, and Monaco represents one of their best chances to qualify on the front row and battle for victory in a straight fight. In a way, while it was a shame for Nico Hulkenberg and Pierre Gasly, it was lucky that there weren't more cars wiped out in that or drivers injured.
The Monaco Grand Prix takes place in two weeks' time.
Maine Poor People's Campaign protests in Augusta
They wanted the Indiana Legislature, which was meeting in a one-day special session, to make more changes to help those people. The "Moral Monday" movement led to more than 1,000 arrests of protesters amid acts of non-violent civil disobedience.
Has your favorite show been canceled?
Hulu probably should have picked up Brooklyn Nine-Nine like they did The Mindy Project a few years ago. But Fox was aware others were interested in the show and is "happy" it found a home on NBC , she said.
