Peak blockchain: HTC's Exodus phone is all about cryptocurrency

The phone is called Exodus and it's being imaged as a phone that gives users the agency to "take back the internet", telling social media sites to "let my data go" and leaving individuals' information in literally their own hands, not in the centralized servers of Facebook and Google. What this means is that all of you cryptotraders will have no problems managing your "money" and accessing it via all sorts of avenues. HTC plans to create a native blockchain network with all Exodus units acting as nodes to facilitate cryptocurrency trading among their owners. If that doesn't get you Mr. Robot fanboys going, I don't know what will. HTC is pinning its blockchain and cryptocurrency hopes on Phil Chen, who was the creator of the company's Vive VR headset. "We would like to support the entire blockchain ecosystem", he said. "With the release of the HTC Exodus we can now make this a reality".

HTC is joining the blockchain future with a new phone powered by blockchain tech.

Exodus is expected in October.

Russian Federation qualify for Rugby World Cup 2019 in place of Romania
The upshot is that Belgium and Romania have been hit with a 30-point deduction and Spain with a 40-point deduction. Belgium therefore lost 30 points after being found to have fielded five ineligible players across six matches.

First reported by TheNextWeb, Chen will be transitioning into a new role at HTC to head up the project called "decentralized chief officer". While the Exodus phone maintains a crypto-connection, its important to understand the basics of blockchain outside of cryptocurrencies to see how revolutionary this device could be.

So far, only Sirin Labs has been able to come very close to the launch of the world's first blockchain phone.

In other words, the Exodus device will act as a way for users to connect to a decentralized network, as well as an actual storage option for users to "carry" their cryptocurrencies.

Of course, as TNW points out, these types of features can already be installed on basically any smartphone already on the market.

Since many smartphones can already handle much of the cryptocurrency trading experience through the use of software, this could be a very specialized handset that only traders might be interested in.

Deadpool 2 review: still the ideal antidote to superhero fatigue
While some of these barbs may raise a smirk, for the most part they feel forced and already a little dated. Despite Deadpool's jokes on it, it is a pity that the studios couldn't make the movie on a larger scale.
