SpaceX launch How to watch Falcon 9 rocket launch

Flying with a reused first stage booster, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket climbed into orbit from Florida's Space Coast early Monday with a commercial communications satellite for the Luxembourg-based operator SES.

The first stage has flown once before, in September 2017, carrying the robotic X-37B space plane for the USA military.

Beijing must end policy of intimidation in South China Sea, US warns
Gen Mattis said the Trump administration wanted a constructive relationship with China but would compete vigorously if necessary. He says Beijing is intimidating and coercing others in the region by putting weapons systems on man-made islands.

"Standing down from Friday's launch attempt to run additional test on Falcon 9's second stage", the company posted on Twitter.

And Musk and SpaceX are aiming for a lot of reuse, both in the short and long term. Mr. Steven hasn't succeeded to date, but it has come close. SpaceX won't attempt to recover the first stage after the launch.

Mattis: It'll be a 'bumpy road' to summit with North Korea
Washington wants North Korea to quickly give up all its nuclear weapons in a verifiable way in return for sanctions and economic relief.

Falcon 9's first stage for the SES-12 mission previously supported the OTV-5 mission from Launch Complex 39A in September 2017.

And the BFR - the giant rocket-spaceship duo SpaceX is developing to get people to Mars, launch satellites, clean up space junk and carry passengers on superfast trips around Earth - is created to be fully reusable. According to the mission's press kit, the Falcon 9 rocket's second stage will deploy the satellite 32 minutes and 14 seconds after liftoff.
