At least 124 people in 36 states have been sickened in salmonella outbreaks linked to contact with live poultry in backyard flocks, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported Friday. No deaths have been reported from the bacterial infections, but 31 people have been hospitalized.

Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development supervisors say 32 people in Michigan have become ill because of the outbreak.

Trump floats possibility of pardoning Muhammad Ali
And now he's considering another legendary boxer for a pardon: Muhammad Ali, who died in 2016 of Parkinson's disease. Supreme Court overturned the conviction of Muhammad Ali in a unanimous decision in 1971", attorney Ron Tweel said .

Dozens of people are sick across the Midwest due to a salmonella outbreak in certain pre-chopped melons.

In addition, consumers who do not remember what store their pre-cut melon was purchased from should also discard it without consuming it. The CDC is not recommending people avoid whole melons. The CDC said it is working to identify a common supplier that might be the original source. Most bought their pre-cut melon at Walmart or Kroger stores.

Trump cancels Eagles' White House celebration, reigniting national anthem kneeling controversy
Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie has also been critical of Trump, and reportedly described his presidency as "disastrous". When Colin Kaepernick protested against social injustice during the 2016 season, Jenkins joined him.

The illnesses were first reported on April 30, and the last documented case was on May 28.

The Illinois Department of Public Health says six cases of salmonella have reported in that state. Both chains are cooperating with the investigation and have removed fruit associated with the outbreak from their shelves.

Key Senate Republicans seek to challenge Trump over tariffs
The only way that happens, the argument will go, is by voting against every candidate with an "R" after his or her name. Now, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell wants to bring that to an end - and the timing couldn't be more suspect.

Salmonella exposure usually involves symptoms of diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps 12 to 72 hours after being exposed to the bacteria. Most people are able to fully recover in 4 to 7 days. The list of states and stores could expand depending on the investigation. The elderly, infants, and those with compromised immune systems are more likely to have a severe illness. In rare cases, an infection can lead to death unless a patient receives prompt treatment with antibiotics.
