Ubisoft didn't reveal any details regarding a potential PvP mode similar to the first game's Dark Zone, though it did show off a new cinematic trailer revealing some more elements of the game's story.
Set in a one-to-one recreation of Washington, D.C., The Division 2 has been shaped by all the lessons the development team learned from listening and collaborating with players since The Division's launch more than two years ago. In the wake of the virus, storms, flooding and subsequent chaos have radically transformed the city.
Developed by Ubisoft Massive, The Division 2 is an online open world, action-RPG/third-person shooter hybrid. Once players reach Level 30, they will be able to choose among different Specializations, such as demolitionist, sharpshooter or survivalist.
Additionally, earlier today, we got news that The Division 2 will be featuring eight-player raids and three DLC episodes all in the first year that will be released for free.
The Division 2 is planned for release on March 15, 2019 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. For players, this means that from day one, The Division 2's main campaign will naturally flow into a robust endgame with its own narrative thread and unique challenges.
