Liverpool and Egypt's national football star Mohamed Salah resumed training on Monday for the first time since his injury in the Champions League finale, and is reported to be training lightly alone in the last national team training session held on Monday, June 11.

Mohamed Salah will be given until the last moment to prove he's fit to play in Egypt's World Cup opener against Uruguay on Friday.

On May 30, Egypt officials said Salah would be out for "not more" than three weeks, which would rule him out of the Uruguay match but put him in the frame for Russian Federation on June 19 and Saudi Arabia on June 25.
