A raccoon sits on a window sill of the UBS Plaza building in St. Paul

NPR reports the raccoon was first spotted on Monday, when it was only two floors up on the outside of the Town Square building. The raccoon was safely lured into a cat food-baited trap and taken off the building.

The Minnesota raccoon paused at several points on narrow window ledges during its climb, even taking naps before continuing onward.

It spent much of Tuesday going up and down the building's floors, occasionally napping on ledges.

The raccoon has gained a social media following around the country, as people hope the little creature makes it to the top of the building.
