Light’s insane multi-lens camera system coming to a smartphone

Light's multi-lens camera tech is coming to a phone
Nine cameras would also allow you to create significantly detailed depth-maps, enabling your photos to generate much more accurate artificial bokehs/background blurs. For those who do not know the brand, Light is a for-profit company focused on revolutionizing the photo industry.
In our first look earlier this year, James Laird wrote: "Taken all together, the Light L16 proposes an enticing combination of DSLR-esque image quality, CSC-like portability, and the ease of use reminiscent of smartphone cameras". The L16 is nothing to turn one's nose up at dismissively.
Environment Canada issues heat warning for P.E.I
Fire crews are expected to knock on about 5,000 doors during the heat wave, and they will offer residents a cooler place to stay. As of Tuesday, according to CNN , an estimated 80 million people in the USA remained under heat advisories and warnings.
Light, a startup known for its 16-lens camera, is bringing its futuristic technology to a new smartphone.
If you have to see the L16 and buy it for yourself, you may have to pump the brakes. The L16 rings in at $1,950 Dollars.
Multiple prototypes are said to be in the works, with between five and nine cameras on the back (like shown above), and the ability to capture 64-megapixel photos, all while keeping the phone just slightly thicker than the iPhone X. Light didn't get into exact specifics, but said that its multi-lens smartphone would be announced sometime later this year. Huawei has also introduced a version of this, called the P21 Pro, featuring three lenses which are utilized for monochrome, color, and zoom. Still, the million dollar question is whether consumers will pay so much for a phone with as many as nine lenses when there are a number of phones that take great pictures now for much less than what a Light smartphone will probably cost.
It's not clear whether Light aspires to be the next big smartphone company, or if it's simply betting that its notional multi-camera smartphone's unique selling proposition lures enough customers to make a profit. Even the release date remains a mystery.

Bolton: Trump will discuss election meddling with Putin
He has said the goal of his upcoming summit is to improve Washington-Moscow relations, which are at a post-Cold War low. This would be Trump's first summit with Putin, even though the leaders have met twice in the last one and half year.
