Lions eat suspected rhino poachers on game reserve

Rangers discovered human remains believed to belong to at least three poachers suspected of breaking into the Sibuya Game Reserve only to be mauled to death by a pride of lions

Mr Fox said it was not clear exactly how numerous men there were, as there was "not much left of them".

It's unclear whether the incident is the same as the one being investigated by the Eastern Cape police following the discovery of suspected human skeletal remains on a game farm in the Kenton on Sea area. After immediately alerting the police, the staffers made a decision to continue their investigation the next morning as it was getting dark.

"They were armed with high-powered rifles with silencers and an axe for the horns and wire cutters and side arms and they had enough food with them to last for many days", noted Fox.

A vet then had to tranquilise the six lions so police could go inside and recover the remains of the mauled poachers.

President Macron touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at 3:10pm. The Afrika Shrine is synonymous with marijuana smoke, raunchy backup dancers and protest music.

Police spokeswoman Captain Mali Govender said: "We do not know identities but firearms have been taken by the police and will be sent to the ballistics laboratory to see if they have been used in poaching before". An investigation will continue.

Mr Fox said one of the reserve's anti-poaching dogs had alerted her handler that something was amiss.

"They strayed into a pride of lions - it's a big pride so they didn't have too much time", Mr Fox told AFP news agency. Lions are often active at night, so the noise didn't raise suspicions.

Also recovered were hunting rifles and axes - proof that they were after the threatened species.

The reserve is still open to guests.

He said they're watching the lions closely and they have shown no signs of being aggressive around vehicles.

Three white rhinos were killed by poachers at Sibuya in June 2016, and three rhinos were killed in May at the nearby Port Alfred Nature Reserves.

The Golden State Warriors Have Broken the National Basketball Association
If Magic Johnson doesn't choose to go that route, other options include Tyreke Evans or possibly Jabari Parker. However, it seems that they could have made more cost-effective and well-reasoned acquisitions.

Nick added: 'The lions may have eaten more of them it is hard to tell as the area is very thick with bush and you can not be sure what they have taken off to feed on elsewhere.
