Some Samsung users say their phones randomly sent
Until Samsung issues an update or patch for the Samsung Messenger app, Samsung users will have to wait it out, so make sure your phone doesn't have any images you wouldn't want your entire contact list to see. This, however, will also prevent you from willingly sending photos through the app. 2. While the widespread of devices indicates that any Galaxy device could be affected, it seems that it's mostly T-Mobile users that are affected by the bug.
Samsung issued a statement, saying, "We are aware of the reports regarding this matter and our technical teams are looking into it". One user said that his Galaxy smartphone sent ALL of his photos to his girlfriend.
The messagingapp is leaving no trace of the photos in the Sent messages folder within the phone's default messaging app.
"We encourage any customers who may have questions or concerns to contact their local customer service centre at 0330 726 7864".
