OxygenOS Open Betas for the OnePlus 5 and 5T now support Project Treble

Last year's flagships from OnePlus, the company known for cramming top-tier features into surprisingly affordable packages, has announced both the OnePlus 5 and 5T will be receiving support for Google's Project Treble. The solution will thus shorten the process of updating Android OS which has been slow for several OEMs. Both the features have been added by the company with the latest Open Beta update.

As requested by nearly everyone who owns the OnePlus 5 and 5T, the Project Treble support is now live for these devices.

Previously a representative for OnePlus insisted neither the OnePlus 5 or OnePlus 5T would be a part of Project Treble. A few months ago, Android received a new Vendor Interface, which is largely what Project Treble is about. Today OnePlus has released a new pair of Open Betas for the OnePlus 5 and 5T, and the changes are quite substantial, including "Supported [sic] for Project Treble".
