Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. said the 66-year-old Weinstein is charged with "some of the most serious sexual offenses" that exist under state law. "It is simply not reasonable or appropriate" to change the bail setup, Brafman said, because Weinstein has complied with all demands from prosecutors to date (a point that Illuzzi conceded).

In all, Weinstein now faces six felony charges relating to three women: two counts of predatory sexual assault, two counts of criminal sexual act in the first degree, and one count each of first-degree rape and third-degree rape.

Last month, the Manhattan District Attorney hit Weinstein with heavier charges than he had previously been facing in NY, a more serious degree of sexual assault which could potentially put him in prison for life.

At the time, Braftman stated his client's intent to plead not guilty to the new charges.

Remarkably, the research revealed that the dog that first spawned CTVT was closely related to American pre-contact dogs. Scientists suggest that the colonizers brought with them diseases that proved deadly to animals.

Harvey Weinstein was led into a NY courtroom in handcuffs this morning and entered a plea of not guilty to charges of committing a forcible sexual act in the first degree. She said she doubts Weinstein's lawyer would allow him to do the same because it would subject him to cross examination by prosecutors.

Courthouse guards told people arriving for jury duty to wait or use a different entrance as Weinstein arrived for his court appearance.

He's been booted from the Motion Picture Academy and effectively blacklisted from Hollywood, but accused sexual predator Harvey Weinstein still thinks he can get his old job back.

More than 75 women have accused Weinstein, who was one of the most powerful men in Hollywood, of wrongdoing as allegations detailed in Pulitzer Prize-winning stories last October in The New York Times and The New Yorker magazine swelled into the #MeToo movement. Weinstein maintains all the allegations are false and he will be vindicated.

Attorney Gloria Allred, who is representing the third woman, talks to reporters after Weinstein left court Monday.

A handcuffed Weinstein entered the court room on Monday wearing a dark suit, a white shirt, and a navy blue tie. Dozens of women have come forward in recent months to accuse the producer of assaulting or harassing them.

A lawyer for Weinstein has said he will plead not guilty on Monday.

Through his company and Miramax, Weinstein won plaudits and awards for movies including "Shakespeare in Love", "Pulp Fiction", "Sex, Lies and Videotape", "The Crying Game" and "The King's Speech".
