The son of former President Zuma faced a throng of journalists as he walked in and out of the Specialised Commercial Crime Court in Johannesburg, shackled and escorted by law enforcement officers.

He has been charged over involvement in a bribe allegedly offered to former deputy Finance minister Mcebisi Jonas by the Guptas.

The plant spans 35 acres (141 thousand sq.m.) and aims to increase overall production of devices in India by 50%. Numerous software products designed for Samsung's smartphones in India are developed by these R&D teams.
The case has been postponed to 24 January 2019 and a bail of 100,000 rand ($7,4000; $5,400) was granted.
His court appearance marks a dramatic turnaround from Jacob Zuma's nine years in power, when corruption allegations involving top officials were rarely investigated.
Zuma's shadow is looming large over the Ramaphosa era.
The allegation is that had he agreed, Mr Jonas would have used his position as finance minister to advance the Guptas' extensive business interests - an example of what became known in South Africa as state capture.
It is alleged that Duduzane was a party to the crime because he was present when the offer was made to Jonas by Gupta.
