Boris Johnson has quit as foreign secretary
Jeremy Hunt, who has replaced Mr Johnson as foreign secretary, said he would be "four square" behind her.
Hunt, who had been the health secretary, is considered one of May's most loyal ministers.
On Monday, high-profile Brexiteer and Conservative MP Johnson announced he was resigning from the Cabinet, following the agreement of a Brexit proposal that would see the United Kingdom retain close links to the European Union after exiting the organisation.
The prime minister hammered out a compromise with her deeply divided cabinet in an all-day meeting at Chequers on Friday, but after consulting friends and allies since, Johnson decided he could not promote the deal.
Davis did not urge other ministers to resign, saying he was in a unique position because the Brexit secretary's job is to sell the government's policy. "That dream is dying, suffocated by needless self-doubt".
LiAngelo Ball to play for hometown LA Ballers in JBL
LaVar Ball's middle child will play alongside younger brother LaMelo and make his JBA debut Thursday in Ontario, Calif. Of course, his playing for the Bruins was derailed in November 2017 following a shoplifting arrest in China.
The decision by Mr Davis swiftly ended the impression that Mrs May had pulled off a political masterstroke by pushing through her vision of Brexit while keeping rival factions of her party onside.
With Britain due to leave the 28-nation bloc on March 29, 2019, European Union officials have warned Britain repeatedly that time is running out to seal a deal spelling out the terms of the divorce and a post-split relationship.
The EU definitely expects more concessions from Theresa May in negotiations if she wants what she describes as a deep and special partnership post Brexit.
"What the Prime Minister needs to do is to give up on the Chequers proposal. which does not actually deliver Brexit", he told LBC Radio.
Leaving Chequers on Friday night the Prime Minister could be forgiven for thinking she had gotten away with it, albeit by the skin of her teeth.
Brexit secretary David Davis resigns
Jacob Rees-Mogg, who leads a bloc of Brexit-supporting Conservative MPs in Parliament, urged May to give up on the plan. Mrs May is expected to tell MPs that the strategy agreed on at Chequers is the "right Brexit" for Britain.
Hunt told LBC Radio in October 2017, however, that he had changed his mind on the issue, in part because of what he said was disappointing "arrogance" in the EU's behavior during negotiations.
His late-night resignation plunged May into a fresh leadership crisis and he was swiftly followed out of the Department for Exiting the European Union by ally Steve Baker.
Whether Theresa May or another is at the helm in the UK, EU diplomats say they need a leader who has to power to make a deal in Brussels and see it through back home. They also argued that the proposals breach several of the "red lines" that the government had set out, including a commitment to leave the EU's tariff-free customs union. "I won't be encouraging people to do that, I think it's the wrong thing to do".
The likelihood of a Conservative leadership contest now looms.

Boris Johnson Resigns As Foreign Secretary
Under Conservative Party rules, a leadership race could be triggered if at least 48 of her MPs declared their support for one. In her response, Mrs May said that "I do not agree with your characterisation of the policy we agreed at cabinet on Friday".
