Johnny Depp Sued By Crew Member For Alleged Assault On Set

Brooks said he was asked to get the permit extended to accommodate Depp, who wanted to direct a longer version of the scene with two friends. That conversation was seemingly cut short when the apparently booze on the breath Pirates of the Caribbean star supposedly start screaming obscenities at Brooks and proceeded to strike him "twice in the lower left side of his rib cage and causing pain".
In the lawsuit, Brooks, who had been hired as a location manager for the film about a Los Angeles police officer, played by Depp, investigating the death of Biggie Smalls, claims that the incident occurred on April 13, 2017 after he informed producers they had one more shot to finish a scene. When Brooks explained who he was, the actor allegedly shouted "I don't give a fuck who you are and you can't tell me what to do!", before assaulting him. "You have no right to tell me what to do".
Furman allegedly replied: "Why don't you tell that to Johnny Depp?".
Depp then yelled "I will give you one hundred thousand dollars to punch me in the face right now!" at Brooks when he showed little reaction, according to the lawsuit, before the actor's bodyguards pulled him away.
Brooks says that the famed actor hired two of his friends for a scene in the flick in April of a year ago.
Brooks said Depp continued his belligerent behavior until bodyguards removed him from the set.
The lawsuit also claims that the crewmember was sacked when he refused to sign papers saying he wouldn't sue over the incident.
Rocky is suing for an unspecified amount and claims that Johnny reeked of alcohol while he was attacking him.
