4 more boys brought out of flooded Thai cave

The 4 Thai boys who were rescued were taken to the hospital yesterday
Fourmore boys have reached Chamber 3 in Tham Luang - past the narrow, treacherous passage near the T-junction that poses the greatest threat to the rescue operation, a source in the operation centre said on Monday.

Eight of 13 members of a youth football team trapped in a cave in northern Thailand for more than two weeks have been rescued and sent to a local hospital, Thailand's navy SEAL division reports.
Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha arrived in Chiang Rai and visited the eight rescued boys in the hospital Monday night, according to Osatanakorn.
The four boys who were rescued on Sunday appeared to be in good health, Thai officials said, but were undergoing a battery of medical tests in the hospital to ensure they were free from disease and infection. "We can't visit our boys in hospital because they need to be monitored for 48 hours", Somboon told Reuters.
And he has been true to his word, sending some of his top engineers to Thailand to help with the rescue, saying: "There are probably many complexities that are hard to appreciate without being there in person".
The outlet reported that eight boys remain inside the cave. "From what I've seen in the clip, they did look skinny", he said.
The extreme danger of the rescue effort was underscored last week when a former Thai Navy SEAL, Samarn Poonan, died after he fell unconscious while placing oxygen tanks deep inside the cave. The boys and their coach have been stranded about four kilometers inside the cave.
Officials lavished praise on the Thai and global divers who executed the risky rescue mission, guiding boys who can barely swim and have no diving experience through a treacherous 4-kilometer-long (2 1/2-mile) escape route that twisted and turned and rose and fell inside the mountain cave complex. In the videos, two divers can be seen carrying the submarine underwater, and at the end of another video, a boy is seen coming out of the pod.
Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop, in an interview with CNN affiliate Nine News Australia Monday, said that the remainder of the boys were also expected to be extracted in batches.

The soccer team had been trapped in the underground cave network since June 23, with flash floods causing water levels to rise, making it hard to get out.
Osotthanakorn said the rescued boys would stay isolated to ensure that they were healthy, but that they had a strong appetite, and were asking for a Thai dish of beef with basil and chili.
So far those who have been released have been rushed off to hospital, and the most recent boys to make it out have been stretchered off.
Change Mai governor Narongsak Osottanakorn said on Monday that the rescued boys' identities were being protected out of respect for the families of those still trapped inside the cave.
"I'm hoping for good news", he said. Two other boys came out at 7:40 p.m. and 7:50 p.m.
