HTC to roll out first blockchain smartphone in 3Q18

14 July 2018, 04:59 | Casey Mitchell

HTC announced last May that it was working on a phone called Exodus, its first blockchain-based smartphone, a security technology that forms the basis of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.

Yesterday, the HTC executive told The Verge that Exodus's blockchain support will come in the form of an in-house crypto wallet and a CryptoKitties service integration. There still aren't any real details about the specifications of the Exodus, and indeed, the website looks mostly the same as it did when the phone was first announced back in May. But some experts do argue that if the market for blockchain phone does exit then HTC can succeed in cashing on first mover advantage through Exodus.

133 killed, 200 injured in twin election-related blasts in Pakistan
The military denied the accusations, and said its assistance had been requested by Pakistan's election commission. This is the second major incident of pre-poll violence in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this week.

The smartphone revolution in the world just got a little bigger with the introduction of the blockchain-powered Exodus Smartphone. HTC claims that each phone serves as its own blockchain node, part of the network that helps secure blockchain systems.

It should be able to store your encrypted data on the device instead of the cloud and also store your crypto wealth while giving you control of your private keys. According to the official statement made on Tuesday, CryptoKitties is to roll out a version for mobile devices available on HTC's flagship phone the U12+ and the upcoming HTC Exodus.

Johnson & Johnson told to pay $4.7bn in powder case
The jury reached a unanimous verdict yesterday to award compensatory damages for 22 plaintiffs that averaged US$25 million apiece. Johnson & Johnson has been sued by more than 9,000 women who claim its talcum powder contributed to their ovarian cancer.

HTC would like us to know that it's not kidding about that blockchain phone.

As for the Exodus phone, HTC says it has started accepting pre-orders for the blockchain handset in the USA market and that demand has been very good. "I'm excited about the opportunity it brings to decentralise the internet and reshape it for the modern user". In the end, HTC Exodus'm late to the fun that already hints at weak sales of the device is to buy it will be only those miners who for some reason still not out of the game.

Indiana Insurers Impacted By Trump Administration ACA Payments Freeze
It discourages companies from trying to save money by cherry-picking the healthiest people and kicking others to the curb. The funding will be delivered to eligible organizations that can help individuals enroll in ACA health plans.

What do you think of CryptoKitties being put on HTC devices? A launch date for the end of 2018 has been confirmed by the company, which might be a technique to steer the conversation away from the phone while the company works on perfecting the phone.
