A woman came to country singer Keith Urban's aid when he was a few dollars shot at a US bowser

Ruth Reed says she met Urban at a Medford Wawa ahead of his concert Friday night in Camden.

The singer thanked Reed and said his name was Keith, prompting Reed to comment on his resemblance to Keith Urban.

Country music star Keith Urban's money is no good at Wawa, at least when one South Jersey substitute teacher is around.

"We decided when we saw military people we would treat them at Wawa or Dunkin' Donuts or whatever", said Ruth Reed, who, along with her husband, have made it a habit to pick up people's tabs at Wawa.

The substitute teacher had made a resolution to help people at her local convenience store, and jumped at the chance when the man ahead of her was short a few dollars. Is there a #MeToo moment happening in country music?

Reed says she hopes her story will help people realize the importance of doing acts of kindness.

"When he told me who he was, I didn't believe him!"

"I didn't know it was Keith Urban".

An "urban" encounter in the suburbs of New Jersey could soon become the stuff of legend.

Simon Gillespie, chief executive of the British Heart Foundation, said: "There is a desperate shortage of organ donors in the UK". The country began a voluntary organ donation trial in 2010 and promoted the practice across the country in 2013.

Reed told CBS Philly she thought he looked familiar but did not immediately recognize him.

"And I said, 'Really?"

Reed said Urban stuck $5 in the donation box at the register and happily took a picture with her.

Reed, who is very shy, has been getting a lot of attention over her interaction with Urban.
