Chris Pratt’s ‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’ pulled from Universal’s release schedule

His next film, comicbook adaptation Cowboy Ninja Viking has now been pulled from the release schedule and placed on indefinite hold. Pratt's character would have the skills of a cowboy, a ninja and a viking whilst others included Amish, Demo Expert, and Army Captain. According to Hollywood entertainment portal, the producers of Cowboy Ninja Viking have removed the film from the release calendar.

There were reports that Priyanka opted out of Bollywood star Salman Khan's Bharat to be a part of the Universal Pictures project. This meant shooting would need to start soon. The reason for the halt of production is said to be that the studio wasn't eager to rush a project simply to hit a release date, as it has "franchise hopes" for the title.

Priyanka signed the film after walking out of Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat, 10 days before her portion of the shoot was to begin.
