Fallout 76 is not going to be available on Steam at launch

Fallout 76 is not going to be available on Steam at launch

"Our current plan for the B.E.T.A.is it will be the full game and all your progress is saved for launch", Bethesda confirmed in a recent FAQ.

While this is not a big issue, it means that you'll need an extra launcher installed if you are going to play Fallout 76, and those are not in short supply these days. Players noticed this a few weeks ago when they noted that the purchase page for the PC version of the game didn't bear any mention to Valve's online game client. "The PC version of Fallout 76, for both the B.E.T.A. and the launch, will be available only via Bethesda.net, not on Steam", Bethesda told the site.

Those still looking to secure their spot in the beta can pre-order Fallout 76 now at Mighty Ape. Even better? Any progress made during the testing period will be carried over when the game releases later this year, making all of that hard work worth it and will help come launch day.

Paul Pogba angered by José Mourinho's view of World Cup exploits
Ferdinand, who made more than 450 appearances for the club, wants Pogba to stay and Spurs defender Toby Alderweireld to come in. Manchester United have confirmed that Marcus Rashford will wear the club's iconic number 10 jersey when the new season begins.

Bethesda's first attempt at an online game (the developer, not the publisher who has released Elder Scrolls Online) will likely be a rough one given their track record with single player games.

Fallout 76 beta will provide access to the full game, according to the official FAQ on the Bethesda website.

Fallout 76 will be available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 14, 2018. Bethesda has confirmed that the impending beta and the game itself will skip out on a Steam release, and instead be tied to Bethesda's own launcher.
