The Day After Trump Admits to Attempted Collusion, Rand Paul Invites Russian Delegation to Washington

President Trump continues to face charges that he colluded with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election, particularly after tweeting this weekend that his son Donald Trump Jr. met with a Russian lawyer during the election to get dirt on his opponent.

"Engagement is vital to our national security and peace around the world", Paul said in a statement.

Shelby's delegation said it had come with the similar goal of reviving communications with Russia, but had also delivered a warning to the Russians not to interfere in the US mid-terms this November.

Oil Rises After OPEC Sources Say Saudi Crude Output Fell
USA sanctions on Iran's energy sector are set to be re-imposed after a 180-day "wind-down period" ending on November 4. Observers have dismissed Trump's call for Saudi Arabia to abruptly increase oil production as political "noise".

Paul also took some time to meet with Americans posted at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow during his swing through the Russian capital.

During a news conference in Helsinki at the time, Trump declined to back the conclusion of the USA intelligence that Russian Federation interfered with the United States presidential election over Putin's denials, though Trump later said when he was back in the U.S. that he misspoke. "Meanwhile, my Trump-defending opponent Don Huffines chose to go on a Moscow adventure this week with Rand Paul instead, to "improve parliamentary relations" with Russian Federation".

The House and Senate issued a flurry of bills and resolutions and to censure Russian Federation and remind Putin that his aggressive foreign policy actions are intolerable to USA lawmakers.

In the post-Crisis comics, Kate Kane is a Jewish LBGTQ character - one of the first openly gay personas in the DC universe. The CW was reportedly on the hunt for an out lesbian actress to portray Batwoman and found their flawless heroine in Rose.

"The hatred of the president is so intense that partisans would rather risk war than give diplomacy a chance", Paul said in a long defense of Trump on the Senate floor, days after the summit.

Putin said he would be happy to meet Trump in Washington or Moscow, but the White House has since said the meeting will be postponed to 2019.

Senator Rand Paul, one of President Trump's more eager defenders on Russian Federation, jetted into Moscow on Monday in a bid to increase engagement with the country. Trump later walked back the remark and said he trusted the US intelligence community's assessment Moscow did interfere. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham told reporters earlier in the week that he wanted "a sanctions bill from hell".
