09 August 2018, 04:55 | Casey Mitchell
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has launched its 'FIX PUBG' campaign to quell bugs
According to the developer we can expect Fix PUBG to "destroy bugs, deliver long-needed quality-of-life features, and take [PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds] to the next level by shipping fundamental performance improvements", with the process running throughout the next three months.
One of the most common complaints about PUBG's performance is the network desync, which makes the game more frustrating that it needs to be.

As usual, the new patch targets issues players have noted with the game and seeks to address them - the two main targets this time are directional sprinting (addressing something that was introduced in a previous patch) and loading times when entering matches.
Known bugs submitted by the community are also being fixed, with some already completed and coming to the game with the next update. Since we released PUBG as an Early Access game a year ago, the game has grown exponentially, and we've been fortunate enough to have millions of incredibly passionate players like you.
"Because we've repackaged the files to improve load times, the patch size will be quite large, despite this being a hotfix".
To that effort, PUBG Corp has launched a website where users can track the progress of specific fixes being worked on for PUBG. PUBG Corp.is also focusing on making its game just a bit more presentable, from making it possible for dead teammates to place markers to the inclusion of a colorblind mode.
You can check out the roadmap in the graph below. In order to find the van, you'll need to keep an eye out on the Xbox UK social media accounts. PUBG Corp doesn't indicate how long the campaign will last, but does promise transparency for the duration.
