Only 50,000 of them will be sold worldwide, and they will become available on August 24, 2018. According to the PlayStation blog the PS4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition release date is August 24 with a price of Euro 499 (roughly Rs. 39,730). On the front of the console you'll find a commemorative copper plate with the limited edition serial number etched into it.

Alongside a transparent vertical stand, the package also includes a PlayStation Camera which doesn't feature a translucent chassis but still draped in similar dark blue colorway. It has a 2TB hard drive and will be available from select retailers across Europe from the 24th August at an RRP of €499.

The limited console is a translucent blue color with sleek copper accents that brings to mind the streak of translucent consoles, controllers, and handhelds that graced the '90s and early '00s. The company announced it to celebrate 500 million sales of PlayStation consoles since the brand's inception in 1994.
