Mobile back to price competition in 'unlimited'
09 August 2018, 07:11 | Casey Mitchell
This Friday T Mobile will launch a plan just for customers who only use their smartphones for its basic services
T-Mobile's unlimited plans may or may not be simpler than what Verizon and AT&T are offering. A second line runs $30 per month; lines 3-6 cost just $15 per month. During congestion, Essentials customers may notice speeds lower than other customers and further reduction if using 50GB/month. AT&T's cheapest unlimited option, called Unlimited &More, costs $70 for one line of service. You can have up to six lines on the new plan, with the fifth and sixth lines each costing an additional $15 per month.
Palestinian rocket fire hits Israel, UN urges more Gaza fuel
Meanwhile, Israeli firefighters battled two fires caused by gas balloons that exploded when the homes were hit by rocket fire. According to reports, an Israeli man was slightly injured when two rockets from Gaza landed in the southern town of Sderot.
How does this differ from T-Mobile ONE? Customers arent really going to save money with this plan when ONE costs a few bucks more with all the perks included. Essentials includes unlimited mobile hotspot use, but capped at 3G speeds. That compares to Dollars 40-70 per line on the One plan.
"The other guys have got Above Unlimited, Unlimited Plus, Beyond Unlimited, Unlimited and More ..." Sign up today to get wireless news and updates delivered to your inbox and read on the go. Most unlimited plans allow you at least 22GB of data before being throttled, while T-Mobile and Sprint hit the brakes at 50GB. As mentioned. Netflix is included with both plans. T-Mobile commissioned a survey in which "a whopping 86 percent of respondents "it is wrong for the price on your monthly wireless bill to be more than the advertised price" and said "wireless carriers should include taxes and fees in the prices they advertise", T-Mobile crowed in its press release". Additionally, T-Mobile One includes taxes and fees in the price, while T-Mobile Essentials charges taxes and fees separately from the per-user rate. More information about T-Mobile Essentials is available right here. Oftentimes, the only way to find out what you'd actually be paying in taxes and fees is to start the application process for a new line, which requires proof of residency and is therefore hard to do. Set to commence on August 10, the provider's new "Essential" offering is an unlimited plan with no frills.
