While on the show to promote The Meg, Rose revealed that she got the call that she'd been cast as Kate Kane shortly before she had to head to the premiere for the new Jason Statham thriller on Monday.

The Orange Is The New Black actress, who is herself attracted to women, expressed elation Tuesday at her casting as a gay Batwoman.

"I was so nervous doing the red carpet that I basically skipped everybody, because I kept, like, spontaneously crying", the Aussie actress shared.
