Packers have the resources to trade for Khalil Mack

Khalil Mack is one of the NFL's best defensive players and a franchise cornerstone of the Oakland Raiders.

If you take a look around the internet, you will see that there are really no experts out there who expect the Oakland Raiders to be any good this season.

Mack has yet to report to training camp while he holds out for a new contract, and now it's being speculated that Oakland could trade the 2016 Defensive Player of the Year.

Red Dead Redemption 2's first gameplay footage
We catch glimpses of mountains, dense forests, steamy swamps, deserts, dusty cattle towns, more modern cities, and more. A narrator goes over everything throughout the video, explaining important information about what people are seeing.

Which, I believe, means this isn't at the boiling point yet and all logical indications are that the most likely result is that Mack will be in uniform for the Raiders for the season opener against the Rams on Monday night, September 10.

This speculation was heated up this week when news surfaced that Mack could be a potential trade candidate since there was little to no progress being made on his contract extension.

The Rams could afford both Mack and defensive tackle Aaron Donald into the future, and would simply have to part ways with Ndamukong Suh after this season.

India vs England 2nd Test Day 1 live updates
He picked up five wickets and scored 97 runs to be decisive in the low-scoring contest at Birmingham. India batsmen need to produce a better show in the second Test to give a tough fight to England .

He might not get all of the money he wants, he might not be thrilled, the Raiders might not be too happy, either, but I believe there are no glaring indications that Mack will be an ex-Raider, or pushed to the brink, or still holding out at that point.

It is evident that Khalil Mack is worth the cost in draft picks and money that he demands from a talent standpoint, but would it be a fiscally responsible decision for the Packers to acquire him.

"I think Nevada, and the state taxes, may be involved", Papa added. Because Mack is on the previous year of his rookie deal, it removes some of Oakland's bargaining power.

"I would give Reggie a call anyway, whether he was or wasn't (available)", Gutekunst said. Conversely, Oakland could use Green Bay's need for an impactful and versatile edge rusher in an attempt to lure away both of their 2019 first round draft selections.
