The bug - which stems from the Infograph Activity complication, which was introduced on the Series 4 - puts the watch in an endless cycle of rebooting.
The changing of the seasons is causing havoc for Apple Watch Series 4users, with a spate of crashes reported in Australia, caused by Daylight Saving changes. The device could not draw a timeline of the day and to strike from it a single hour. Level features, the AppleWatch Series 4 Nike+ offers the application Nike+ Run Club for recording the scores of the different sessions of sports while incorporating a community-based network. However, out of 24 hours, the particular watch face is reportedly not registering an hour or so worth of activities.
This was the reason for the failure of Apple Watch Series 4. Each time the device boots, it tries to load the complications and while failing it repeats the same. Currently Apple hasn't commented on the issue, but some users have been able to work around the bug by changing the watch face via the Watch iOS app. Leaving it on the charger could also cause problems for the watch's long-term battery health, experts said.
Reports about the Apple Watch Series 4 crashing and restarting due to DST are not a very big issue, and the issue should correct by itself tomorrow.
