Oscar Strengthens Into Tropical Storm

"The last season to produce a November named storm was previous year, 2015". Oscar is moving to the west at 16 miles per hour.

Oscar became a hurricane Sunday night but land isn't threatened, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Oscar strengthened into a tropical storm late Saturday over open waters.
