Emile Ratelband identifies as 45

A 69-year-old pensioner who says he has the body of a 45-year-old is taking action to legally change his age to improve his job prospects and luck with women on Tinder.

This photo taken on Nov 5, 2018 shows a portrait of a 69 year old Dutchman Emile Ratelband in the centre of Arnhem, The Netherlands.

Emile Ratelband filed a lawsuit against the Netherlands government in an attempt to change the birthdate on his passport from March 11, 1949, to March 11, 1969, the Dutch publication De Telegraaf reported.

"When I'm on Tinder and it say I'm 69, I don't get an answer". If I'm 49, then I can buy a new house, drive a different auto.

Lion Air: Sensor was replaced day before crash but problems persisted
KNKT is planning to simulate a flight to assess the impact of sensor damage at Boeing's engineering simulator facility in Seattle. According to a company statement as of September 30, Boeing had 4,783 firm orders from 98 identified customers for the 737 Max.

Ratelband, described as an "entrepreneur and self-help guru", also says that being 20 years younger will help him get more work as a consultant, among other benefits.

Ratelband said he is willing to renounce his pension if the court grants his wish, though the chances of it happening appear slim as it's believed there is no legal way for a person to change their date of birth.

Local media said that Ratelband, who is a media personality and motivational speaker, is a trainer in neuro-linguistic programming and described himself as a "young god". Well, he says that if transgender people are allowed to self-identify, he should be allowed to change his date of birth because doctors said he has the body of a 45-year-old.

"When I'm 69, I am limited", he explains.

The judge said that he had some sympathy with Mr Ratelband as people could now change their gender which would once have been unthinkable. If I'm 49, then I can buy a new house, drive a different vehicle.

Ratelband seems especially focused on getting his dating life back on track and says that he isn't anxious that women who see him in the flesh may be disappointed.

The pensioner has said he is ready to give up his pension if the court agrees to let him change his age. "Who was that little boy?" he was quoted as saying.

The court is due to deliver a written ruling within four weeks.
